Warm and quiet weather conditions prevailed across central and
eastern Kansas today. Afternoon highs were in the 90s with light
southeast winds.

The quiet weather pattern continues for tonight across the central
plains with weak surface high pressure sliding eastward into
Missouri. Overnight lows will range from the low 60s in the
Nebraska panhandle, to the low 70s in eastern Oklahoma.

On Tuesday, surface low pressure will deepen over eastern Colorado
which will then cause southerly winds to increase over the
Heartland. South winds of 10 to 25 mph are expected along with
mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs will be in the 90s across middle
America.
