.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...A surface trough over the islands
will remain nearly stationary tonight and Wednesday. A midlevel ridge
extending from the east will help push the aforemention trough
west on Wednesday night. From this afternoon, RAOB depicted a
stable profile. However, models continue to bring showers across
the islands tonight and Wednesday. Convections and showers
materializing near northwest of Savaii will continue to spread
across the island chain tonight. Winds will remain light and
variable throughout the short term.

.Long term...
FRIDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...The active trough to the far south will
remain nearly stationary through the new week. Models are showing
scattered showers passing over the islands on Saturday night and
Sunday. A ridge building slightly to the south of the islands
will generate gentle east winds on Saturday and into the new week.
Will keep showers at isolated for now while waiting for a couple
more model runs.


No significant swells are expected to impact the territory in the
next several days.
