...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WAYNE AND SOUTHWESTERN
MCCREARY COUNTIES...

At 522 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered over Oil Valley,
or near Monticello, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Whitley City, Parmleysville, Great Meadows Campsites,
Slavens, Susie, Barrier, Gregory, Co-Operative, Pine Knot,
Slickford, Ritner, Denney, Powersburg, Blue Heron, Oil Valley,
Coopersville, Marshes Siding, Burfield and Kidds Crossing.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
