A cluster of thunderstorms moved south across western Kansas Tuesday
evening and overnight, producing areas of large hail and damaging
winds. The rest of the state remained quiet, with predawn
temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

Warm and breezy weather will prevail today across Kansas, with
forecast high temperatures in the 90s to near 100 degrees, warmest
over western Kansas. By late this afternoon, thunderstorm chances
will increase over northwest Kansas.

Thunderstorm chances will spread southeast this evening and tonight
into western, central, and northern portions of Kansas. A few strong
to severe thunderstorms are possible. Forecast low temperatures are
in the 60s and 70s.
