Including the cities of Lafayette, Frankfort, Kokomo,
Crawfordsville, Anderson, Muncie, Indianapolis, Terre Haute,
Shelbyville, Bloomington, Columbus, Vincennes, Bedford, and Seymour

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible across much of the area today.

Hazards: Lightning, brief heavy rainfall.

Timing: Mainly before 800 PM, but the highest coverage of storms
will be this afternoon.

Discussion: An area of low pressure and a lingering front will
generate scattered showers and thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible Sunday and Monday across all of
central Indiana. A few storms may be locally severe during the
afternoon and evening hours of both Sunday and Monday. The primary
threats will be damaging winds and large hail.

A few thunderstorms are possible Tuesday mainly south of Interstate
70. Brief heavy rainfall and dangerous lightning will be possible
with any thunderstorm.

Discussion: A meandering front will keep chances for showers and
thunderstorms around through early next week.


Spotter activation may be needed Sunday afternoon and evening and
again Monday afternoon and evening.
