Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
605 AM EDT Sat Aug 24 2019

.DISCUSSION...Mainly dry weather is expected today as high pressure
continues to build in from the Great Lakes. A stray shower is
possible for locations along the VA and TN borders this afternoon.
Otherwise, dry weather is expected into Sunday for most
locations. An upper level disturbances approaching from the west
may lead to a few showers or storms by Sunday afternoon and
evening for locations generally along and west of I 75. As the
disturbance moves across the OH Valley, a small chance of showers
will continue into Monday. The highest chance for rain during the
next week will be on Tuesday as a front pushes across the region
and an upper level disturbance moves across the OH Valley. Dry and
mild weather should then return from Wednesday through at least
Friday of next week.
