SOUTH CENTRAL FLOYD AND SOUTHWESTERN PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM
EDT...

At 1257 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Dry Creek to Horn to near
Eolia to Maggard. Movement was east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitesburg, Jenkins, Wheelwright, Fleming-Neon, Winters, Horn, Van,
Pine Top, Colly, Beefhide, Cromona, Nealy, Trailer, Payne Gap,
Colson, Sergent, Lester, Democrat, Dorton, and Ermine.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers 1 and 7.
 U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County between mile markers 0 and 6.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
