COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM EDT...

At 1229 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Drew to Polly to Dongola to
Lewis Creek. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitesburg, Letcher, Bath, Cumberland, Wheelwright, Fleming-Neon,
Lynch, Pippa Passes, Benham, Blackey, Cody, Van, Carr Creek, Colly,
Premium, Nealy, Sergent, Redfox, Ivis, and Ivan.

THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers
1 and 2.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
