...Gusty Winds and Elevated Threat for Wildfires on Friday...

Winds will increase to the 10 to 15 mph range from midday on
Friday into the afternoon. Meanwhile gusts into the 20 to 30 mph
range are expected. These gusty winds along with rather low
humidity and dry fuels will lead to an elevated threat for
wildfires. This combination will enable fires to spread quickly.

In addition, winds may gust up to 30 mph on Laurel River Lake,
Lake Cumberland, and Cave Run which could lead to rough chop for
area boaters.

Conditions should improve with easing winds and rising relative
humidity in the evening.
