Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
122 PM CDT Fri Jul 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...

With light winds and good overnight recovery, fire weather
concerns will remain low despite a warming and drying trend into
next week. Isolated storms from daytime heating of elevated
terrain over the Davis Mountains could still pose a risk of fire
starts from lightning and gusty, erratic winds.
