This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

The remnants of Tropical system Beta will combine with an upper
level system to bring rain to the area today and tonight. Locally
heavy rainfall will be possible at times, which may cause
flooding in some locations especially across the southern
Cumberland Plateau into western portions of the southern
Tennessee Valley. A flood watch is in effect through late
tonight for portions of southeast Tennessee. Outside the the
flood watch, localized flooding of poor drainage areas will be
still be possible but the threat of more widespread significant
flooding is lower.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.


Spotter activation is not needed at this time.
