...Rising river levels expected this week for the Clark Fork River
in Missoula...

The combination of rainfall and mountain snowpack melt will result
in rising river levels for the Clark Fork River in Missoula.
Confidence in rising river levels through Thursday morning is high.
The Clark Fork River is projected to reach action stage (7 feet)
Wednesday morning and may reach flood stage as early as Wednesday
afternoon (7.5 feet).

Recent forecast trends point towards the Clark Fork River in
Missoula reaching action and flood stage earlier than previously
projected. Given recent heavy precipitation upstream of Missoula and
prospects for additional precipitation Tuesday into Wednesday,
interests along the Clark Fork River should be prepared for
fluctuations in river forecasts over the next few days.
