Fire Weather Planning Forecast For CEN/ERN VA...NE NC...MD ERN SHORE
National Weather Service WAKEFIELD VA
754 PM EST Mon Nov 29 2021

.DISCUSSION...

...INCREASED FIRE DANGER 10 AM UNTIL 7 PM TUESDAY EVENING FOR NORTHEAST
NORTH CAROLINA...

Cold front is now well offshore as high pressure builds over the
region through midweek. A combination of enhanced winds and low
afternoon RH will lead to a few hours of concern Tuesday afternoon
across SE VA and NE NC. Increased fire danger statement in effect for
all North Carolina counties. NC has also issued a burn ban until 5 PM.
Despite a series of weak disturbances and fronts passing through,
dry conditions are expected to persist into the first week of December.
