National Weather Service WAKEFIELD VA
423 AM EDT Wed May 20 2026

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will continue today, with high temperatures
well into the 90s, and min RH values mainly in the 30 to 35
percent range for all but the immediate coastal zones. There is a
low chance for thunderstorms across the northern portion of the
area late this afternoon into this evening, but the next
appreciable chance for wetting rain is not until tomorrow. NE
winds and unsettled conditions with much high RH and cooler
temperatures prevail into the upcoming holiday weekend, before
gradually warming Sunday into early next week.
