Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1149 AM EST Sat Nov 8 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and storms remain possible as we head into the
late afternoon and overnight hours. An approaching cold front
Sunday brings southwesterly winds, shifting northwesterly into
Sunday night with gusts approaching 30 mph. Another round of
isolated showers and storms is possible Sunday associated with
the front, but highest chances for any activity are along and east
of the I-95 corridor. A much colder and drier air mass settles
into the area for next week with minimum RH dropping below 40
percent each day.

Fog potential tonight: Low
