1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Onshore flow will strengthen and seas build tonight in advance of
a cold front that will move into the area Wednesday morning. A
line of strong storms will be moving toward the coastal waters in
the 8am to noon timeframe. Winds will quickly become west northwest
behind the storms. They will increase going into Wednesday night
and remain elevated into Friday. Small Craft Advisories are
currently in effect and a Gale Watch is also in effect for
Thursday. Low Water Advisories will also be possible for the bays
and ship channels on Thursday as water is displaced to the south.
