.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A trough of low pressure over the waters will shift westward
today and tonight as high pressure builds northeast of the state.
The trough will amplify west of the islands Monday and Tuesday,
then merge with a front and approach from the west Wednesday and
move into the waters on Thursday.

.TODAY...Around Kauai and Oahu, variable winds 10 knots or less,
becoming east 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Elsewhere, east to
southeast winds 5 to 15 knots, increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 to 5 feet at 7
seconds and north northwest 2 to 4 feet at 8 seconds. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...Around Kauai and Oahu, east to southeast winds 5 to 15
knots. Elsewhere, east to southeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Seas 4
to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 to 5 feet at 7 seconds and north
northwest 2 to 4 feet at 16 seconds. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms.
.MONDAY...East to southeast winds 5 to 20 knots, strongest
windward waters. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 to 4 feet
at 7 seconds and northwest 3 to 4 feet at 14 seconds. Scattered
showers.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East southeast winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 6
