.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Ophelia is nearing and will move
onshore along the North Carolina coast early this morning.
Locally, northerly winds have decreased and will become east to
northeast into this afternoon. However, lingering swell will lead
to hazardous boating conditions through much of the day today.
Boating conditions will improve late weekend into early next week,
though shower and storm chances will increase.
.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Seas up to 7 to 9 feet.
The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream
based on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Saturday,
September 23rd.
