Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
129 PM EDT Tue Jul 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Weak trough over the area will continue to support scattered
afternoon showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening
through Thursday. As upper ridging begins to strengthen to the
southeast by the end of the week, temperatures will rise to well
above average for Friday into the weekend with a bit drier air
leading to more isolated coverage of any afternoon storms.

Fog Potential: Patchy fog possible.
