Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
228 AM CST Tue Nov 12 2019

.DISCUSSION...

Mixed wintry precipitation will rapidly taper off this morning.
Strong north winds will continue through today with northerly
transport winds near 20-25 mph. Mixing heights will also lift
throughout the day from roughly 2000 ft AGL to 3000 ft AGL,
helping create good dispersions. Favorable radiational cooling
will set up a nocturnal inversion overnight, but low moisture in
the atmosphere will keep fog at bay. Lower mixing heights tomorrow
and light winds will make for generally poor dispersions.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
