.DISCUSSION...
Tropical Depression Two is forecast to move westward along the Gulf
Coast through this week, moving away from east central Florida.
Southerly flow will persist through at least mid week, increasing to
10-15 mph each afternoon with gusts to around 20 mph. Bands of NNE-
moving showers and lightning storms will remain possible, especially
in the afternoons each day, which will also locally enhance wind
gusts. Lightning strikes and localized flooding due to training
bands will be additional threats. Coverage will be widely scattered,
with chances decreasing Tuesday, as drier air moves into the region.
There are no Min RH concerns. Near to slightly above normal
temperatures are forecast each day, with afternoon highs in the low
to mid 90s and peak heat indices of 100-107 degrees. Peak afternoon
smoke dispersion values will be good to very good through Wednesday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
