Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A high pressure ridge NW of the
waters will weaken later tonight and will expand S to the W of
the region through Fri. A low pressure trough along the
California coast will slowly weaken later tonight then become
much weaker Wed through Fri night and persist into Sun night. A
high pressure ridge will be along and W of the area Sat and
strengthen Sat night as low pressure develops and stays well W of
the area. By Sat night through Sun night high pressure will be to
the W of the central and S California as a coastal trough
redevelops.
