...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR TALLAPOOSA COUNTY UNTIL 515 AM
CDT...

At 414 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Goodwater to Jordan Lake. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Alexander City, Tallassee, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Jacksons` Gap, New
Site, Waverly, Goldville, Reeves Airport, Southern Lake Martin,
Hillabee Creek, Eastern Lake Martin, Liberty City, Western Lake
Martin, Tallapoosa City, Northern Lake Martin, Wind Creek State Park,
Still Waters Resort, Daviston and Hackneyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
