* Special Marine Warning for...
  Waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 500 AM CDT.

* At 429 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over High Island
  199, or near Heald Bank, moving east at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  High Island 199, High Island 167, High Island A177, West Cameron
  294, High Island 170, High Island 129, and High Island 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
