.DISCUSSION...It will be mostly cloudy today with a slight chance of
rain showers this morning, then an increasing chance of rain showers
this afternoon and maybe a thunderstorm after 1500.  Gusty northwest
winds can be expected through much of day with good to excellent
smoke dispersal after 0900.  Rain will increase tonight and continue
through Saturday. Dispersal on Saturday will be poor through the day.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (70-80 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers until 1200, then rain showers and
                    slight chance of thunderstorms.
CWR.................14 percent.
Chance of pcpn......80 percent.
LAL.................1 until 1200, then 2 until 1500, then 3.
Max temperature.....Around 58.
Min humidity........37 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Northwest winds 14 to 23 mph with gusts to
                    around 35 mph until 1600, then 11 to 16 mph
                    with gusts to around 25 mph. Gusty and erratic
                    winds expected near thunderstorms after 1200.
Mixing height.......Below 1000 FT AGL until 0800. 6300 ft AGL after
                    1000.
