THE JUNE THROUGH AUGUST SUMMER SEASON WAS WARMER AND DRYER THAN
NORMAL AT GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE TOTAL PRECIPITATION
OF 7.83 INCHES WAS 1.68 INCHES BELOW NORMAL FOR THE THREE MONTH
PERIOD. THIS WAS DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS THOUGH AND THE GRAND FORKS

10.85 INCHES. SO RAIN ACCUMULATION VARIED ACROSS THE GREATER GRAND
FORKS AREA. THE MEAN TEMPERATURE OF 67.4 DEGREES WAS 0.8 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL. THIS WARMER THAN NORMAL SEASON WAS MAINLY DRIVEN
BY THE MONTHS OF JUNE AND JULY AS AUGUST WAS BELOW NORMAL.

NO RECORDS WERE SET IN THE MONTHS OF JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST AT GRAND
FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

REMEMBER... THIS DATA IS PROVISIONAL AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE
FINAL AND OFFICIAL RECORDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE NATIONAL
