FORTUNA DISPATCH-
DISCUSSION FOR FORTUNA DISPATCH
228 PM PDT SAT SEP 14 2019

RH RECOVERIES WILL BEGIN TO IMPROVE TONIGHT, FOLLOWED BY A COOLER
DAY ON SUNDAY AS CLOUDS BEGIN TO INCREASE AHEAD OF RAIN ARRIVING
BY SUNDAY NIGHT. SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF OUTSIDE OF THE INTERIOR
MOUNTAINS BY MONDAY AFTERNOON, WITH AMOUNTS RANGING FROM A QUARTER
OF AN INCH ACROSS SOUTHERN MENDOCINO COUNTY TO NEAR AN INCH OVER
THE MOUNTAINS OF DEL NORTE AND INTERIOR HUMBOLDT. WINDS WILL BE
LIGHT AND TERRAIN-DRIVEN, THOUGH SOME EXPOSED RIDGES NEAR THE
COAST WILL SEE GUSTY NORTHERLY BREEZES DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS
TODAY. LIGHTER ONSHORE WINDS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY AND MONDAY,
TENDING MORE SOUTHERLY NEAR THE NORTH COAST. ADDITIONALLY, THERE
IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING HOURS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE INTERIOR ON MONDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN COOLER MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WEEK, WITH
ANOTHER PERIOD OF WET WEATHER PROJECTED FOR TUESDAY NIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY.
