.DISCUSSION...
Ongoing showers and thunderstorms will diminish between 6 PM and
7 PM. The risk of heavy rain will end after dark, with some
stray showers possible in the evening.

Otherwise, temperatures will rise to around 5 to 10 degrees above
normal Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure aloft settles near
the NM/AZ state line. Highs will reach the lower to middle-90s in
the Sapillo Creek and Mimbres Valleys. Isolated to widely scattered
thunderstorms are still expected each afternoon, favoring the
higher terrain before drifting north to south. Min RH values will
drop into the 10s in the afternoons, but recent rainfall and
expected scattered thunderstorms will keep overnight recoveries
fair to good.
