.DISCUSSION...
While winds should be generally southerly along the ridge tops near
the burn site this morning, an inversion with slightly cooler air below
will keep things light and variable near the burn pile till the afternoon
when the inversion mixes out. The inversion may also put a lid on
the height of smoke column early on not allowing the smoke to disperse
very well till the afternoon. While skies should be clear today there
is a chance that afternoon snowmelt in the area could get trapped under
the next nighttime inversion and lead to fog formation overnight into
Friday morning. Though that is uncertain at this time. GAH
