A cold front sinks south and east of the event location Monday with broad high pressure dropping south from the northern Great Lakes region. This high pressure system will deliver drier conditions and lowering humidity for the start of the upcoming week. Sunny to mostly sunny skies are expected Monday with shower and thunderstorm chances less than 10 percent. High temperatures will be right around 80 degrees with dewpoint in the low 60s. Winds will remain light out of the north at 5 to 10 mph. Dry conditions continue Monday night with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies as high pressure slides into eastern Canada. Lows Monday will fall into the upper 50s with light northerly winds less than 10 mph. High pressure continues to shift east toward the New England coast Tuesday shunting any residual moisture from the stalled front down into southwest Virginia and North Carolina. This will leave the event location mostly dry once again with mostly sunny skies and highs around 80 degrees. Dewpoints will continue in the low 60s leading to a comfortable feel with winds turning back to the southeast at 5 to 10 mph. Precipitation chances will sit at 15 percent or less with a spotty shower and perhaps a thunderstorm forming on the terrain late in the afternoon and early evening hours. .MONDAY...
