.DISCUSSION...Preceding an area of low pressure moving into
northern California tonight, a period of downslope winds are
expected in and below canyon openings. Strongest winds are
expected through 2 am tonight before starting to weaken. As
the area of low pressure moves across the Great Basin
Thursday and Friday winds will shift northerly. There
may even be light showers Thursday with snow mixed
in at elevations above 8000 feet.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy. Isolated showers. Snow level could
                    fall to 8000 feet.
