This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Winter weather returns late tonight through Monday bringing light
snow accumulations favoring the northern mountains. Slick roads may
exist through mountain passes in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and
at Raton Pass Monday evening.

A potentially colder and more potent system is slated to arrive late
Wednesday through Thursday. This system could potentially bring more
snow to valley locations of central NM. However, considerable
uncertainty exists with this second system, so stay tuned to forecast
updates. Any significant snow accumulations look to favor the western
and northern high terrain at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
