A few thunderstorms are possible after midnight tonight, although the probability for severe weather is low. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. There will be periods of thunderstorms Saturday through Tuesday. Some of the storms could be severe Saturday morning and afternoon, as well as Sunday afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rain will be possible at times, especially on Sunday. Oppressive heat will build across the region starting Tuesday afternoon, and will persist through Thursday, and possibly into next Friday. Heat indices are expected to peak in the 105 to 115 degree range. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly after midnight. The probability for severe weather is low. Minor flooding is expected to develop along the Little Wabash River near Clay City around midnight tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. There will be periods of thunderstorms Saturday through Tuesday. A few of the storms on Saturday and Sunday may be strong to locally severe. Locally heavy rain will be possible at times, especially on Sunday. The flooding on the Little Wabash River is expected to subside during Saturday night, though heavy rain may push it back into flood early next week. Oppressive heat will build across the region starting Tuesday afternoon, and will persist through next Friday.
