935 PM CDT Fri May 24 2019

Through 10:30 pm...scattered strong to marginally severe storms
will persist across the northern South Plains, northern Rolling
Plains and far southeast Texas Panhandle, though a gradual
weakening trend is expected. Locations along and north of a
Littlefield to Floydada to Matador to Swearingen line will have
the greatest risk of experiencing a thunderstorm. The strongest
storms will be capable of producing dime size hail or larger, wind
gusts to 50 mph and torrential rainfall as they track northeast
around 25 mph. The very heavy rainfall will reduce the visibility
and create areas of flooding. Motorists should be extra cautious
at night, and never attempt to drive through flooded roadways.
