Seasonal temperatures expected on Sunday, with minimum RH dipping
to the 20s across the foothills and plains, and teens for portions
of the mountains. Winds will generally remain under 10 mph
throughout the day.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...
Temperatures are expected to reach 10-20 degrees above normal for
the region Monday through Thursday, with portions of the plains
possibly reaching 90 degrees by Wednesday. Minimum RH values
expected to dip into the teens each day this week, brining daily
elevated fire weather conditions. However, winds will be the
limiting factor, as gusts may stay under 25 mph, with localized
stronger gusts possible across the higher elevations. Monday looks
to be the best chance for elevated fire weather conditions across
mountain valleys and possibly northeastern plains.
