   AMZ100-211030-  618 PM EDT Mon May 20 2019    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  A weak cold front will move through the region Tuesday becoming  stationary to the south Wednesday, before moving back north on  Thursday. Strong high pressure returns to the area Friday and into  the holiday weekend, however a wavy frontal boundary to the north  could sag south into portions of the area late week.    $$

Adjacent sounds and rivers a moderate chop. A slight chance  of showers and tstms late.  TUE  W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NE in the afternoon. Seas 2 to  4 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Adjacent sounds and rivers a  moderate chop. A slight chance of showers and tstms in the morning.  TUE NIGHT  NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Dominant period  5 seconds. Adjacent sounds and rivers choppy.  WED  NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Dominant period  8 seconds. Adjacent sounds and rivers a moderate chop.  WED NIGHT  E winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to 5 to 10 kt after  midnight. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Adjacent sounds and rivers a moderate  chop, diminishing to light chop after midnight.  THU  SE winds around 5 kt, becoming S 10 to 15 kt in the  afternoon. Seas around 2 ft. Adjacent sounds and rivers flat,  increasing to a moderate chop in the afternoon.  THU NIGHT  SW winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt after  midnight. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Adjacent sounds and rivers a moderate  chop, increasing to choppy after midnight.  FRI  W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NE. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Adjacent  sounds and rivers a moderate chop.  SAT  NE winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SE 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.  Adjacent sounds and rivers a moderate chop, diminishing to light  chop.    Winds and seas higher in and near tstms.    $$
