   ANZ500-180800-  1059 PM EDT Sun May 17 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    High pressure continues to strengthen while moving further offshore  today into Monday limiting small craft conditions. Small Craft  Advisories return Monday and Tuesday as channeling ensues ahead of  an incoming cold front midweek. This front will bring renewed  chances for widespread showers and thunderstorms to all waters  Wednesday afternoon. Additional showers are possible Thursday into  the upcoming weekend. Small Craft Advisories may be needed at times  for portions of the waters Wednesday through Friday.    $$
