   LSZ141-122200-  Grand Marais to Taconite Harbor MN-  827 AM CDT Thu Mar 12 2026    SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO  7 PM CDT THIS EVENING  GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH  FRIDAY MORNING    REST OF TODAY  West wind 5 knots becoming south late in the  morning, then becoming southeast early in the afternoon becoming  east 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 25 knots late. Chance of  snow late. Waves 1 to 2 feet.  TONIGHT  East wind up to 30 knots with gales to around 45 knots  becoming northeast with gales to around 40 knots early in the  morning. Blowing snow in the evening. Areas of blowing snow after  midnight. Snow through the night. Waves 4 to 6 feet building to  8 to 13 feet. Waves occasionally to 17 feet.  FRIDAY  North wind 20 to 25 knots with gales to around 35 knots  becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots with gusts to around 25 knots  in the afternoon. Freezing spray in the morning. Chance of snow  through the day. Waves 7 to 12 feet subsiding to 4 to 7 feet.  Waves occasionally to 16 feet.  FRIDAY NIGHT  Northwest wind 10 to 15 knots with gusts to  around 20 knots easing to 5 knots early in the morning. Partly  cloudy. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet after  midnight. Waves occasionally to 7 feet.
