Outside Point St George  and Cape Mendocino, the stronger winds have pushed slightly  farther off the coast, although there may be brief threat for  gales through the evening. These winds are expected to continue  through much of the workweek. A longer period NW swell will  gradually diminish over the next several days.    $$
