.SYNOPSIS...Much stronger north winds will begin to build early
Friday morning with near gale force gusts in the outer waters.
Short period seas will quickly build close to 10 feet by the
evening. Stronger gale conditions will intensify into the
weekend, initially in the southern outer waters and spreading to
all area waters by Saturday morning. Gusts in excess of 40 kts
are likely downwind of Cape Mendocino. In addition to very steep
short period seas, a moderate, very long period westerly swell
will impact the waters around Sunday. Winds will gradually subside
early next week.
