   LSZ250-282100-  Munising to Grand Marais MI-  500 AM EST Sun Dec 28 2025    STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE MONDAY  NIGHT  HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT  THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING    EARLY THIS MORNING  Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Cloudy with  a chance of rain showers. Patchy fog. Waves calm to 1 foot.  TODAY  Southeast wind less than 10 knots backing east with  gusts up to 23 knots by late morning, then backing northeast  10 to 20 knots late. Cloudy. A chance of rain showers through  early afternoon, then rain showers possibly mixed with snow  showers and sleet late. Patchy fog through the day. Waves  building to 2 to 3 feet.  TONIGHT  Northeast wind up to 30 knots with gale force gusts up  to 41 knots becoming north gales to 40 knots with storm force  gusts up to 56 knots by midnight. Snow showers possibly mixed  with rain showers through late evening, then snow showers by  midnight. Freezing spray late. Waves building to 20 to 25 feet  occasionally to 31 feet.  MONDAY  North gales to 40 knots with storm force gusts up to  57 knots. Snow showers. Heavy freezing spray. Waves building to  22 to 27 feet occasionally to 34 feet, then subsiding to 20 to  25 feet occasionally to 31 feet.  MONDAY NIGHT  Northwest gales to 40 knots diminishing to up to  30 knots after midnight. Storm force gusts up to 53 knots. Cloudy  with a chance of snow showers. Heavy freezing spray.
