Sunday: New England remains cool and wet as the Northern Plains prepares for the next round of severe weather

The Northeast will be cool on Sunday with many locations being 10 to 20 degrees below normal. New England will mostly be wet with rain likely; however, the higher elevations in New England will see accumulating snowfall. Scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast for the Northern Plains, some of which could be severe.

Tonight Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, mostly clear early, then becoming cloudy, with a low around 60. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light west southwest in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
