Severe Weather Possible for Parts of Central and Southern Plains

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening for parts of the central and southern Plains, from southwestern Neb. across eastern Colo., western Kan. the western Okla. Panhandle, northwestern Texas Panhandle and extreme northeastern New Mexico. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats, though isolated tornadoes are possible.
