...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
  following county, Guilford.

* WHEN...Until 1245 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1032 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.8 and 1 inch of rain
    has fallen. The rain has ended but localized flooding may
    occur in poor drainage areas.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Greensboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
