.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Thursday...
Scattered storms and showers are expected to continue through this
evening. Some storms could become severe along the eastern plains.
Relative humidity drops near 16-20 percent in South Park but winds
remain between 10-14 mph. This will lead to marginal fire weather
conditions for a few hours. Smoke dispersal conditions are good to
excellent over the region Thursday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday night through Monday...Thunderstorm
chances will continue Friday and into Saturday. Friday will be a
cooler and more moist day. Best chance for thunderstorms will be
Friday as well. Saturday begins to warm up and slowly dry with
chances for late showers and thunderstorms starting to decrease.
A warmer and drier pattern sets up for Sunday and early next week.
Expect warmer temperatures with drier conditions. Chance for
precipitation will be low to near zero most days. Sunday is expected
to be breezy with winds to 35 mph over the higher terrain and to 25
mph across the plains. Sunday also looks to be the warmest day with
highs nearing 90 along the Front Range and eastern plains
