A cold and blustery night was observed across the area under
partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Early morning temperatures
ranged from the low to mid 20s in parts of western Kansas to the
mid and upper 30s in eastern Kansas.

Below normal temperatures will prevail across the area today with
decreasing clouds as we move through the day. Breezy winds will
also begin to diminish late in the day. Afternoon high
temperatures will be warmest in southwest Kansas where values will
climb to around 50. Meanwhile, those in northeast Kansas will
struggle to climb out of the 30s.

It`ll be clear and cold over the region tonight as a ridge of high
pressure builds over the area. Low temperatures will fall into the
teens and 20s across the state.
