A cold front moved through overnight which allowed much colder air
and low clouds to spill south across the area. Early morning
temperatures ranged from around 30 over north central Kansas, to
around 40 over far southeast Kansas.

An upper level disturbance is expected to bring some light snow
and flurries across much of Nebraska today with minimal
accumulation expected. The bigger story will be the very cold
airmass to overspread the Plains. Highs today are only expected to
reach the teens today across much of Iowa with 40s forecast for
most of Oklahoma and western Kansas. For tonight, look for lows
to range from around 0 over Iowa to the 20s across most of Kansas
and Oklahoma.
