THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A PUSH OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL INCREASE SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...FAVORING THE
SOUTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS. LIGHTNING...GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS AND
LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE THREATS WITH STORMS TODAY.

THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF NORTHWEST COLORADO AND NORTHEAST UT WILL
REMAIN WARM AND DRY...BUT BECOME BREEZY TO WINDY THIS AFTERNOON...
RAISING FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MONDAY...A COLD FRONT APPROACHING FROM THE WEST WILL LEAD TO WARM
AND WINDY CONDITIONS AHEAD OF IT OVER MUCH OF EASTERN UTAH AND
WESTERN COLORADO. MOISTURE WILL BE PUSHED EAST AND EXCEPT FOR A
FEW STORMS OVER THE DIVIDE MOUNTAINS...DRY CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED. THE MAIN CONCERN WITH ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS OVER
PORTIONS OF WESTERN COLORADO AND EASTERN UTAH DURING THE AFTERNOON
AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY CAN BE EXPECTED TO
PERSIST OVER THE SOUTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS THROUGH THE WEEK WITH
DRY CONDITIONS ELSEWHERE.
