This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Thunderstorms will be possible across far western Kansas late this
afternoon into tonight. A few storms may become strong to severe
with hail and damaging winds being the main concern.

* Hail: Limited risk
* Thunderstorm wind damage: Limited risk
* Flooding: Elevated risk
* Lightning: Significant risk
* Fire weather: Limited risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

A storm system will bring scattered thunderstorms across the
entire forecast area Sunday through Monday before exiting from
west to east Tuesday. These storms are not expected to be severe,
but heavy rain and frequent lightning will be possible.
