This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

Day 1 Discussion

Elevated fire weather conditions will exist today as low humidity
values and gusty south to southwest winds combine this afternoon
to early evening. In addition, a few thunderstorms will be
possible this morning and again in the afternoon to early evening,
however widespread severe storms are not expected.

* Excessive heat: Limited risk
* Non-thunderstorm wind: Limited risk
* Fire weather: Elevated risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A slight threat for severe thunderstorms will exist on Saturday
and again on Sunday. Otherwise, a chance for thunderstorms will
exist through most of next week along with the return of elevated
fire weather conditions toward the middle of the workweek.
