.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Snow will develop Friday across much of the Northland, especially
in the afternoon. The snow will continue into the evening before
diminishing or ending for most areas overnight. Snow will
continue through Saturday in the snowbelt of Ashland and Iron
Counties. Most areas will receive from 1 to 3 inches of snow with
amounts of 3 to 7 inches in the snowbelt of Ashland and Iron
Counties, with some locally higher amounts possible.

The next chance for snow accumulation across much of the
Northland will be Sunday night into Monday. At this time, snow
amounts look to be from a dusting to 2 inches but there are some
indications higher amounts could develop so stay tuned for
updates. Several more clipper-type systems will move through the
region during the upcoming period bringing periodic chances for
mainly light snow accumulation. Lake effect snow may cause higher
snowfall along portions of the South Shore.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.
