230 FZUS63 KDTX 111935 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 335 PM EDT Sat May 11 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.50 inches, will continue to track off to the east of the region into tonight with gusty northwest winds and showers diminishing this evening. High pressure will briefly build into the area Sunday morning before a second system arrives Sunday evening bringing additional showers and thunderstorms. Once this system passes, a frontal boundary will stall over the area early next week offering yet another opportunity for thunderstorms.
