...Slippery road conditions this morning with gusty winds near
Lake Superior...

Light lake effect snow and areas of freezing drizzle continue
this morning downwind of Lake Superior, but is expected to
gradually diminish in intensity and coverage by late morning.
Expect minimal additional snow accumulations but there could be
minor ice accumulations on untreated surfaces due to the freezing
drizzle. If traveling this morning, slow down, allow for extra
stopping distance between you and other vehicles, and give yourself
extra time to reach your destination.

Gusty winds along the Lake Superior shore will also linger through
the morning hours, with gusts upwards of 40 mph at times. Inland,
wind gusts as high as 30 mph remain possible. These gusty winds
may cause difficult travel conditions, especially on roads exposed
to the winds off Lake Superior.
